Canyoning and Rafting Combo: We very rarely recommend combo tours because you usually end up with lesser versions of each of the tours rather than having a really great, ‘wow’ experience. The exception is the Canyoning and Rafting Combo. This is a great option for groups who are short on time and want to fill their days. The tour starts at 7:30 am with the rappelling. After the tour, you will have a quick breakfast en route to the Wave office before starting your rafting adventure. Once you finish on the water, it’s back into the bus for a short drive to a local farm to change into dry clothes, enjoy some cultural fun and have a late lunch. You return to the Wave office around 4 pm.
Take hats, sunscreen, repellent, bathing suit, towel and a dry change of clothes including footwear. Wear quick dry fabrics such as nylon if possible. Strapped sandals or closed shoes only, no flip flops for canyoning in Costa Rica.
