The tour starts with your pickup 5:30 am because that is the best time of day to see the most birds and animals. The family run refuge spans almost 5 hectares of land and as many as 150 species of birds have been spotted on the property. You may also see sloths, frogs and lizards. Enjoy a delicious breakfast in front of the feeders for great views of the birds. The tour finishes at about 9 am. You will need closed-toed shoes, hats, sunscreen, bug spray. 1.2 km of walking.
